8 years agoI loved the vegan burger special they made for me. As with most vegan restaurants, you can expect to spend around $10 a plate. My wife ordered a simple salad which was okay but nothing special. I must say there is something eerie and creepy about a restaurant that is decorated in a Caribbean vibe yet not a single person of color seen working there. Being from New York, I'm extremely weary of gentrification. Vegan burger was great though!

8 years agoFound this little gem on the Vanilla Bean app and I can say I’m very glad I did. The atmosphere at this cafe was cozy and nice. Service was very friendly and the food was amazing! The selection is quite interesting, with brunch options included. The decoration gives it a great touch. You must come by and try this place, you’ll be glad you did. 👌🏽

8 years agoIt was nice to find this right off of the I-95S highway but it was a little disappointing. First of all, they provide plastic utensils when we ate there in the restaurant which is quite wasteful. There's a menu item titled "Raw Plate" so me eating mostly raw vegan naturally inquired about it. They said it shouldn't be on the menu cause it's only for special events....Then when I asked for a salad, it was plain kale leaves tossed in their (what tastes like) soy sauce dressing and chick peas. Wouldn't go back unless I was eating one of the cooked dishes. My partner ordered the veggie burger which tasted great.

8 years agoAs a traveler, I always try to find vegan and juice bars. So when I came across this place I was so happy! I walked into a brightly colored space that made me feel at home. The food was delicious, my bf and I had their veggie burger with sweet potato and rice on the side. All was delicious. My favorite was their juice. It had the perfect amount of ginger in it for that spicy kick. As we walked outside to cross the street we saw a guy holding a sign advertising the Kale Cafe...we chatted with him and found out it was the owner! I'm happy to support a place where the owner is doing the tough groundwork for his business. Eclectic style, delicious food, and amazing customer service. Get yo butt in there and eat!

8 years agoLove love love! I’ve come to this location so many times and it seems like the vegan burger gets better every time! My brother is new to vegan food and he fell in love with their food! Atmosphere is beautiful, the owners are great all around great!

8 years agoVery disappointed, went there for first time today (01-17-18). Based on website photos was expecting a whole different experience. Was hoping to go in be waited on instead of feeling like I was standing at the counter ordering food that was already prepared, like a fast-food place. Not happy with this idea of dining, however it is a great concept that is very much needed in our area, but Kale Cafe has room for major improvements to meet what I consider Vegan/vegetarian/raw&juice bar. Sorry for this review I was hoping for so much more!

8 years agoI have loved this place since the first time I went to their Daytona Beach location! I live in Port Orange so when I saw they opened a second place, I was THRILLED! Their Veggie Burger is a must have! My boyfriend, and my momma loved it! Very clean and relaxing vibe. Lovely wife & husband, family owned business! The kind you wanna support ❤ No complaints, only warning is that you will fall in love with the experience.
